SME network as a capable and flexible solution provider

Bad Reichenhall, August 2024 - Only with holistic systems and solutions can we as small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) generate the appropriate attention and awareness in planning and procurement to ultimately provide optimal support to the end user. SMEs make valuable individual contributions, for example, when it comes to innovative and agile components. However, they reach their limits when it comes to the functional and tactical requirements of an overall solution.

We are convinced that in the future, SMEs will be able to work together as capable and flexible solution providers.

In addition to our collaboration and commitment in associations such as the BDSV and the TechHUB SVI of Bayern Innovativ , we are strengthening cooperation in the operational area.

Mobility and low signature are vital requirements in the modern battlefield. Line of sight (LOS) is a sometimes contradictory requirement for most sensors.

To combine these tactical and technical requirements into one solution, we worked with ARX Robotics and other partners to test mobility, reconnaissance from cover/in difficult terrain, and interoperability using the example of the rapid switching of a mast-supported payload between manned and unmanned platforms.

Once again, the Zippermast demonstrated its ability to “harmonize interfaces” and act as a “bridge” between platform and payload.
